This Valentine's Day was one for chocolate soufflé. The picture on the right is the photo that came along with the recipe. Mmm, looks delicious. The photo on the bottom shows the actual results; not bad, especially for my first time. I wish you could have been there to try one with me, we had plenty. Mine didn't crack open quite like the stock photo, or rise as much. I think that maybe next time I would leave them in for a few minutes longer to see if I could get a little more rise out of them. To get it to crack, maybe I could try scoring the custard before I put it in the oven. What do you think?
